Teaser #2: Assuming everything goes smoothly Bikereg will go live next Monday June 8 at noon with a limit of 150 participants. Classes will be A, B, and C based on projected time. There will also be Women's and Juniors U18 classes but anyone eligible for those is also eligible for A, B, C. Cost will be $25. Below is the Event Notes on how we expect it to run. Exact time gaps and spacing may be tweaked before the event based on size of the groups. Please keep an eye on this page for further announcements.
Sugar Cycles Presents the Back to the Future Warda Time Trial
A Group participants will go off starting at 8:30 AM in one minute increments. B Group will start after them, followed by C Group, then Women's, then Juniors U18. There may be short breaks between the groups, your exact start time will be posted in advance. Total registration is limited to 150 participants. This will be permitted under USACycling as a non-competitive Gran Fondo event, no USAC license is required but purchasing one will give you the extra benefits of USCycling membership.
This is a not a TMBRA event but we will be using the TMBRA year long chip-timing number plates. If you already have one you will use that one. If you do not have one you will need to purchase one for $5 that will be good for all TMBRA events for the rest of 2020. If you have one and forget it you will need to purchase another one.
This event is pre-registration only and is strictly limited to 150 total participants. There will be a very minimal contact check in procedure before the event that will open at 7:00AM onsite. There will be no awards, points, or upgrade points from this, only bragging rights. There will be a random raffle of prizes donated by our sponsor Sugar Cycles that will be open to all 150 participants equally.
In keeping with recommended current procedures, please bring your own water and food to avoid shared resources. We are in the great outdoors but please follow social distancing guidelines and avoid congregating in large groups.
This will be a fun event to get everyone back into the mountainbike racing scene without having an all out competitive race. It will also be a chance for you to thank the previous Bluff Creek Ranch owners Paul and Susan Nolan for their years of having us, and a chance to meet and welcome the new owners Breck and Jeannine Powers. _________________ Masters 60+;
