There seem to be some differences in opinion out there about whether cycling can cause urethral strictures although it seems to lean toward it does not. What do you think?

If there is no direct blunt trauma to the anatomy in question, no urethral strictures should not occur. Just ask the billions of people who ride bikes world wide as their primary means of transportation. If there is direct blunt trauma from something such as a hard fall onto the top tube of the bike or from taking a seat nose into said anatomic area in a hard big air landing, yes, then a urethral stricture may coccur from the trauma.

However, there are other related problems to consider with saddles and the delecate anatomy that comes inproximity with the saddles. See this link.
