Cameron Park Blowout is almost here. I will be at Rocky Hill race this weekend if anyone has questions look for the Bear Mountain pop up. The course is well marked. Start at the Redwood Shelter in Cameron Park. Follow red arrows and red ribbons. The start this year a bit different from last. Cat 1,2, and 3 will endure (hopefully) a grueling road climb to separate the men from the other less fit men or women. We will dive into California 56 at Lawson's Point and start a 7 mile loop through the park on the best CP has to offer. Cat 1 and Cat 2 get to repeat, but making the climb on the technical 56 rather than the road again. Finish hard on the river trail to take the gold!

Junior 10U and 12 U: Take the river trail out to Act of Faith climb and follow arrows and blue ribbons. return on river trail

Word of caution to pre riders. PLEASE ride SLOW on the river trail at all times. Save your kick butt speed for the race. The river trail is packed with walkers, and dogs, and horses...you get the picture. Go fast on the real trails in the park, but respect the walkers on the river trail.

If anyone has questions text me 254-722-2842. See you at the race.

Is 40+ considered "old folks"?

TMBRA guidelines denote that 40+ C1's do the Category 2 distance.
There must be a typo.
